You not only need to know how your individual emails are performing, but it is nice to have a detailed overview about your campaigns and be able to compare them.
In this section I'll show you hot to create a report, that shows your individual email's performance during a certain timeframe. Exactly like this:
Data source
Friendly is able to give you all the data you need, and this is how you access it.
First go to the reports, and create a new one.
We can give a name to our report and select the proper data source. Choose sent emails for this report.
Now let's head to the Data tab. This might look like rockets science for the first time, but it's not that bad:
Let's see what we have here:
1.: The left column here shows what is available for the report. The right column is the one you are using in your report right now. By simply clicking on the names you can move them between the areas. Collect the ones you see in the screenshot above.
2.: This shows the grouping of the columns. It means if you group by subject line, than all emails with the same subject will be in the same line and all their data will be nicely aggregated. If you group by date, than emails sent on the the same date will be displayed in one line.
3.: The calculated colums will show you information that is not available as a value in the column, but can be calculated using multiple columns or cells. Count, Sum or Average of column vlaues for example. We are using COUNT (ANZAHL) here in this example. Use this operation for the Unsubscribed column.
4.: In this area you can set if the date filter should be visible on the top of the report, and if it should be shown as default.
Just push save and progress to the next tab where we can create Charts from our report for better visualization:
You know the drill by now: you can just simply add and remove reports. I suggest you turn them all on and see which one is not relevant, and just remove them.
The last tab will allow you to create a daily report:
Just enter your email and choose how often you would like to have the report emailed to you.
Congratulations on creating your first report!
