What data does Friendly Analytics track?This makes the use of Friendly Analytics compliant with data protection laws such as the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR).
Because we do not store any personal data and do not set any cookies, you would not even have to set up an info banner (Switzerland) or obtain consent via a cookie banner or a consent management platform (EU) for the use of Friendly Analytics.
Also, from our point of view, you would not have to mention the use of Friendly Analytics in your privacy policy for the same reason. If you still want to do it, you are welcome to use the following text template (of course without guarantee).

When ordering, you could choose whether we should host your data in Switzerland or in the EU (since the beginning of 2023, before that we chose the hosting according to the location of your company). If your login URL is app.friendlyanalytics.ch, we store your data in Switzerland. If the URL is app.friendlyanalytics.com, we store your data in the EU.
